Tartan
Dahlia Tartan, named after the Scottish kilt, is what is called a ‘painted’ dahlia. Although this dinnerplate dahlia doesn’t really look like a kilt, this flamboyant raspberry and cream-coloured flower makes quite a statement. Whether planted in a garden or put in a vase. Tartan has been a true classic for decades and has always been ranked a favourite. As this plant can grow up to at least one metre in height it is best planted towards the back of a border.
